Modeling Portfolio Photo Shoot
It was a pleasure to work with StephDaze (IG @stephdaze) to supplement her existing fashion model portfolio. She recently signed with the Edit Talent Agency and was looking to add a few specific images to her portfolio.
The process began by her providing some sample images of the look she was going for. In this case, we were going for a high key-like image with her wearing a heavier coat or jacket appearing like she was ready for an evening out.
Using the photo samples provided by the fashion model, I setup the studio to help capture the look she wanted. These images were shot on a white seamless paper backdrop. The main light was a 47” ungridded Octabox and a small-ish umbrella for fill. Since photo shoot tended towards the high key side, the issue of light spill was not a major consideration. The backdrop was lit by a single AD200 with a diffused reflector.
Here’s just a few of the photographs from this modeling portfolio photo shoot. Don’t miss the one of surprise when the studio dog wandered onto the set!!
